South Cheshire Ferret Rescue is based in Alsager, Cheshire, our rescue is run by myself, Julie and my husband Billy. We have been keeping ferrets for 27 years and rescuing and rehoming for the past 11 years.
For the last 4 years we have been working closely with the RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre near Nantwich in helping to rehome any ferrets that come into their care. We have to adhere to a number of strict guidelines to enable us to board and rehome RSPCA ferrets, along with any ferrets handed in by members of the public.
We also have a number of ferrets in a foster home in Manchester. These ferrets are taken care of by our fosterers, Adam and Gemma.
We have lots of ferrets needing homes and South Cheshire Ferret rescue is very close to the M6 Motorway meaning we are within easy reach of Cheshire, Manchester, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Lancashire and many more.
All our ferrets are neutered and vaccinated before they go up for adoption.
There is an small adoption fee for each ferret £45 (hobs), £50 (jills) & £20 (kits). This fee covers any neutering, vaccinating and microchipping. It is these fees which enable us continue to neuter, vaccinate and provide medical treatment to any needy ferrets which end up in our rescue.
We are starting a boarding service from January 2012 at both sites in Alsager, Cheshire and Manchester. Please see further details on the new boarding page.
